About

Welcome to iBikerBlog, a site dedicated to motorcycles, riding, and the open road.  Here you will find articles about my current bike projects, including upgrades, IMG_0203fixes, restoration, and routine maintenance.  But more importantly, you will find information about my epic (and not-so-epic) motorcycle road trips, along with tips, pictures, and general observations.

While I enjoy all kinds of bikes, my personal interest is riding and building Harley Davidson motorcycles.  I grew up riding in the dirt, and against all intelligent logic, I still engage in that activity, if for no other reason than to prove to myself that I’m no longer 18.  However, these days I spend most of my riding time on the pavement astride one of my v-twins.  Although I’m a relatively new rider, I log around 15k miles annually, and you’ll find me as the solitary idiot on two wheels when the temps are in the teens.  When the temps are just too cold and the roads are covered with snow and ice, I’ve been known to hop a flight to the Sunshine State and log some miles on my Dyna, or head west to Cali and rent a Street Glide from Eagle Riders and tear up PCH.

Ride safe, and above all, ride free.
