My Dyna leads a pretty charmed life. Not only is there a roof over her head, and every need addressed, I continue to maintain her high standard of living with only the finest fluids, tires, and the occasional accessory. This winter, the Dyna wintered in Florida. That’s right; my motorcycle got to escape to the sunny Gulf coast of the Sunshine State while I suffered in the misery of the worst winter on record.
Well, darling, holiday is over. I’ve made my commitment, cleared my schedule, and booked a ticket to come down there and bring your black ass back to reality. In two weeks, I’m flying into the cigar city of Tampa, and then the Dyna, a/k/a the Bad Bitch and I are heading back to Motown.
Rather than make the beeline up the boredom and sensory deprivation that is I-75, I’m going to shove off from Flordia and ride to Hilton Head. From there, I’ll head up I-95 to I-26 and roll into Ashville, NC, for a restful night before carving it up on the Blue Ridge Parkway and traversing the Smokey Mountains before making my way back north through Ohio and eventually into the mitten.
If you’d like to follow my journey, I will be updating my new Facebook page from the road, where I’ll be adding some pictures and brief snippets of the journey, which, of course, will be covered here on iBikerBlog.
If you haven’t, please take a moment to “Like” iBikerBlog on Facebook to keep up with all of the iBiker mischief.
